New Drama Series...封神榜

Before I began to write this blog today, I've realised that I've been blogging once every few days. Come to think of it, it's not that I don't want to blog daily, but sometimes...blogging daily made me felt that I will write even lesser. Therefore, I've reached to a decision of blogging when necessary. Of cos not once every few weeks, but perhaps once every 2-3 days. So...don't be surprised if you do not see my blog updated. Maybe I am keeping my thoughts and accumulating them at a go. :)

Oh..back to the main topic...Saw my header? Yes, recently I've been watching a chinese drama series named '封神榜'. Don't be mistaken...this is not a HK drama but a drama consisted of both China, HK, Taiwan as well as.....Singapore!!! Suprised?? Hahaha...In fact, there are many versions of 封神榜 due to the popularity of this story. I believe quite a lot of people already know the story of 封神榜', regardless how many versions there are....they usually don't stray too far apart.

If you look carefully at the picture above, you will notice 2 familiar faces. YES!! They are our Singapore celebrities 'Tay Ping Hui' and 'Zheng Shi Mei'. When I first saw them in the series, I was practically shocked too! But well, as I followed the series, I feel that Tay Ping Hui is acting very naturally. Even though he is acting alongside with so many amateur actors and actresses, he looked so natural within them as if he had been acting in this kind of Asian Dramas for a very long time.

See? The pictures above are part of the series. Although I am not a fan of 'TPH', I do admit that his outfit and acting is very good in this series. As for 'ZSM', she acted well too but I can't comment much yet as so far, her appearance was little and I think she will appear more during the later part of the series (Okok, I am still watching currently). :)

Alright, if there is any further interesting parts I discovered while going along with the series, I will surely post it here. Time for me to catch my sleep now....

MRT Disruption...What a Monday!

Monday is a bad day...no doubt about it. Why? Cos MRT went on a strike and cause me (well, not just me) to be late for work!!! While writing this, I happened to saw on the news that there are about 57,000 people who were affected and majority were very unhappy about it.

For me, I ended up taking the shuttle bus they provided to Tanah Merah MRT Station so that we can take the MRT towards town. Initially, I thought it's just a short journey so I might not be late for work after all. Who knows!? The bus took me near to 30 mins to reach Tanah Merah MRT Station only! By the time I reached my office, it was closed to 9.40am already. Luckily my superior knew about this incident and understand the situation. Phew...

From the news I saw earlier, the disruption lasted for about 7 hours! Goodnes! That's freaking long! Geez...Imagine this incident caused 3 towns to be affected. What's more, Tampines and Pasir Ris are big towns with a lot of population. You can imagine the damage it caused for such an early morning....

It also seemed like there are a lot of people expecting SMRT to provide a good explanation for this when this happened. Sigh....as for me, what can I do? The only thing I can do was just find an alternative to get my @ss to reach office...See, what a Monday it had been...

Rest..more Rest

Phew...after Jay's concert, I was practically tired and restless. What's more, I even woke up early in the morning at 8am on Saturday to attend an event...Even though it's not really working, my mind was still tuned back at Jay's concert the night before...

Jay...Jay...Jay Chou!!!

OMG!!! I just came back from Jay Chou World Tour Concert 2008 at Indoor Stadium today and you know what? Jay is practically too damn COOL! He is just so 'kawaii' + boyish + smart! Geez! How can one miss a concert like this? Especially his! If you never been to this concert, you may never realize that he has open up more than before. During the concert, he really joked a lot. With that, he brought up a lot of hype to us! One thing though, he was having a cold these past few days, therefore, I could hear that his pitch was somehow lower.

Although my seat is considered good and really near to the stage, the seats are all leveled. Well, it means if someone taller than me was sitting in front of me, I will really see nothing. Luckily, due to the hype, no one really sat all the way, therefore, almost everyone stood throughout the concert. :p

Jay really sang lots of songs...I mean, really a lot. He also changed into a few costumes during this concert. Oh oh..and guess who's the guest-of-honour for his concert? They are his favourite disciples "Nan Quan Ma Ma"! Actually, their presence really brought a lot more expressions on Jay. With them around, he can joke and talk more casually, which is good cos this showed us the funny side of Jay. The most happening part would be......he came down from the stage and shake hands with the front row of the audience! Not just him, but his dancers too! His dancers were just too "hot"...they even went to some audience and dance in an exotic way which really "Ooooo"...

Since today is his Bday, he really opened up a lot more. Imagine he can say this: "Can you imagine today is my Bday and yet I gotta hold a concert!?" That was just too funny. That's not all, he actually requested everyone in the stadium to sing him a Bday song! After we sang it, he was just so happy. I mean really happy....this is the first time I see Jay smile and laugh so often. Not just that, perhaps due to this special day, he actually re-appeared twice after we kept shouting his name! That's just too unexpected and everyone was like screaming and shouting for him continously. Everyone really didn't bear to end the concert after all.

Ok, After all these talk, I guess the best will be to show the photos I've taken at the concert! Watching LIVE was so much cool but well, the photos can really be very sentimental to me :)

Yes! Jay Chou's World Tour Concert Today!!!

Yes!!! Today is the day I am going to Jay Chou's Concert! I am sooooo excited and anxious to see what theme he will be having for this concert. By the way, I found this poster of his which is for the concert and it looks super cool :)

I keep wondering how the concert will be like. How will he make his entrance at the beginning? Perhaps curiousity does kill the cat. So, I guess I'll have to stop guessing and wait till I get there to see for myself :p

Oooooh...so much excitement, so much of a restful day. Let me get some more hype when I am back from the concert. :)

A weird beginning for a new year...

Oh my..looks like I've not been blogging these past few days.

It's been almost close to 4 days since I had my diarrohea. Today, I finally went to visit my doctor so as to know what really happened to me. Well, after a check-up, my doctor told me it could be due to a certain infection, and advised me to take my medicine accordingly and on time (as usual).

I am not the type of person who likes to take medicine...but cos I really couldn't tolerate the way my diarrohea is torturing me, I decided to just listen to my doctor and take medicine accordingly. Miraculously, my diarrohea condition seemed to be better. The only problem is my stomach pain. Till now, the pain is still occuring, even though the frequency of the pain is getting lesser. Nonethless, I really hope that my diarrohea and my stomach pain will be gone by this Friday so that I can go to Jay Chow's concert happily :)

Alright, I know recently my posts are short, but do pardon me since I am still unwell. :p

I Hate Fever, I Hate Diarrhoea!

This weekend was the most terrible weekend I've ever suffered. Why? Cos I've gotten myself high on fever on Friday, terrible stomach problem on Saturday as well as today...

To think I spent almost 1 hour sleeping on my office's sofa after work last Friday just to get rid of my headache. It was so terrible that I almost couldn't walk! Sigh...in the end, the night-out with the guys in MK ended early...for me, cos I went back home myself early in the night at 10.15pm...Didn't even managed to meet Kenneth since I've not seen him for quite some time. :(

Yesterday wasn't that all great either..Although I rested early the night before, and my fever had gone down, my stomach didn't get any better. Instead, I kept having the acute pain in my stomach once every few mins, which the pain lasted a few seconds everytime...Due to that, I couldn't eat much, couldn't walk too fast, couldn't drink any other drinks that plain water and non-gassy drinks...

Even till now, I am still enduring the acute pain as I type. I know I should have gone to see the doctor so as to know what exactly happened within me, but due to the upcoming week which is critical to me in terms of work, I really don't want anything drastic to happen. Perhaps after tomorrow, I may go to the clinic should my pain persists. Anyway, I have to get some rest before the day begins again...Good Night :)

Obstinate..Stubborn, why?

There are lots of people who are obstinate or stubborn, in their own ways. But so far, I've never seen or met anyone who are so obstinate or stubborn until I felt like stabbing them.

Alright, you may seem puzzled at what I am talking about. Well, it's about work...again. Naming them out will be bad, so, i will skip that out. :) YET! Imagine this, how on earth can someone be so stubborn till even though it's a no-go sign, yet still want to go on further more!? Advices are given, warning are provided, but the obstinate thinking still won't leave their minds, I just couldn't do anything.

Just because of this, my mood for today (since earlier this morning) was down by 50%. And it's really early in the morning! Geez!!! I know my blog has more nags than gags, and anyone reading this blog of mine may just close it out of boredom. Forgive me, I just don't seem to have other means of venting my frustration and irritation somewhere else. >.<

Nonetheless, I will try my best to post something happy and cheerful on my next post! Tomorrow is weekend! Mood rising!

Rainy Day...

Today is a rainy day, and a really rainy day indeed. Even now as I am writing this blog, the rain is still pouring down as if it is crying...

Oh yes, my above statement sounds emo isn't it? It does for a little, since my mood for the day kinda suited this rainy day. A hella lot of meetings were held today and I was involved in each and every one of them. With that, it seems like i didn't really accomplish any work today. In fact, I don't even know a suitable phrase to describe my feelings right now. Sounds contradicting? Perhaps I am contradicting myself.

I realised a fact today. My OM is giving me more task than usual, asking me to attend meetings and giving opinions for fellow colleagues. Does that means I am gonna get a pay rise too? Haha...Of cos I hope for that to happen but in actual fact, I doubt that will happen soon. Without my product being stablised or showing good result, I don't think I will get a pay rise. Who knows? I may even be sent packing off my bag if all goes badly...No one wishes his/her own product to be not well-received, therefore, I definitely and sincerely wishes the best for my product. Yet, I am afraid that by pushing it on my pace, others may find me naggy or even bothersome.

Oh well, enough of the emo-sickness. I hope my post today did not makes anyone feeling sleepy or bored. Getting rid of emo-ness does need some time :)

I guess I'll just hit my bed now, hoping that the rain will go away during my sleep and a sunny day will appear the moment I open my eyes in the morning.

Straight, straight hair Once AGAIN!

YES! My hair is straight once and again! May I proudly present my after-rebond hair! kekeke...

It really made me feel good after my hair had undergone rebonding...feel so light! Actually, one of the reason why I went rebonding straight after the day of my D&D is due to my cousin's wedding. Yesterday, 6th Jan 2008 was their wedding night, therefore, I got this urge to rebond my hair before I attend their dinner...hehehe..

I felt a bit guilty though. In fact, I was supposed to be at my cousin's place in the morning. But I thought it's not compulsory, so I did not really take note of it (anyway, Eric won't want to go so early). Who knows my mum called me early in the morning and asked me am I coming or not! I was like "huh" and had to reply my mum negatively...:( Sorry!!

Anyway, the dinner is overall "ok" since we've been there consecutively twice in a week. The only problem is...the reception was a bit messed up due to them didn't sort out the Groom and Bride's side guest list. Cos of that, the queue at reception was exceptionally long >.<>

See the 2 glasses of drinks on the bottom right pic? That's the ultimate "sabo" drinks of the night for the couple! *yucks* Anyway, in the end, only the groom drank the "milo" lookalike drink since the bride disappear out of a sudden...(maybe afraid of the drink..or us...)

Okoki, I realised I typed till so late...gotta go to bed now. :)

D & D...Back to School!

Yesterday, my company held our annual D & D at Chijmes, Upper Club. What's more, the theme is "School"! So...may I present my outfit for this D & D:



Ok, I admit it's not really that school-like, but at least the checkered skirt makes up for that theme :p
If you look at the right pic, you will see my Newsboy cap. In fact, this cap is by far the favourite out of my overall outfit. When I reached our venue, many of my colleagues told me that this type of cap really suits me and I should have wore them often! When I heard that, of cos I was very elated!!!

The dinner was great, apart from the duration where I had to perform >.< lol....But anyway, the most happiest period of the D&D was of cos the Lucky Draw! Can you imagine this? There was 3 sets of PSP Slim, 1 set of PS3, 1 set of Wii, 2 sets of Dell Notebooks, 1 set of DS Lite and many more....but in the end, i won NONE of them!!!!! *sob* What I got was only a plushie. A PLUSHIE!!!

Haizz....I felt so sad that my chance of getting the PS3 was gone AGAIN! Umm...I actually wanted to show the photo of the plushie here, but due to the confidentiality of the plushie (If i show it, I will be in deep trouble), I better don't post the photo here. Hehehe.... Alright time to look at some of my snapshots with my colleagues!

Bye..2007, Welcome 2008!!

2007 is finally gone! Time really passed by fast, in a blink of an eye, 2008 has already arrived. I believe in another blink, 2009 will come by really soon as well...

With the last day of 2007, me and my friends definitely didn't let the day passed by without anything to do :) So.....we gathered for BBQ!!! Yes, BBQ. Not clubbing, not pubbing, not any fanciful restaurant but BBQ at East Coast Park. :P

Some may feel that BBQing seems very tedious due to the work needed to make BBQ work like gathering all the food etc. Yet, we felt that BBQ is one way we can get friends to really work together and also to make our bondage closer :)

Nonetheless, our BBQ went really well and although we did not managed to finish the food, everyone was in fact more than 70% full...lol. What's more, other than just BBQing, we played games too, haha! I guess just saying is not enough, pictures will say a thousand words instead ;

I loved this outing. Even though it's a quiet activity without much noise or cozy ambience, we really enjoyed ourselves and spent our NYE together. :)

Oh...well, just came back from a heavy dinner. Gotta rest for today and prepare for work on a brand new year!
