Last Saturday, I went for a routine checkup at my gynae's again...and to be frank, i was pretty nervous since this checkup was suppose to be able to know the gender of my baby...provided he/she is not hiding or blocking that area.
Maybe the appointment was set too early, i ended taking a taxi to the clinic....LATE! Did I mention i moved my house? What's best is that...this location has very few taxis passing through. Therefore, i reached my gynae's place late and ended waiting back in queue from those who reached before me, even though my appointment was earlier.
Well, while waiting for my turn, i saw a very young couple coming into the clinic. In fact, they looked too young to be parents. Ok..so this young lady walked to the assistant and asked for a checkup details with the gynae. But when the assistant told her that each consultation cost at least $70-$80, her facial expression changed immediately....Maybe the assistant had too much experience on this before and her question to the young lady shocked me. She asked, 'Are you student?' In fact, this question shocked me first then that young lady, lol....
Anyway, the yound lady nodded her head and discussed with her partner. In a short while, they just thanked the assistant and left the clinic. Seriously, they are too young and if the girl's really pregnant....i think her family will be very very upset about it.
Alright, I am getting really out of my topic, lol.
Ok...so during my checkup, my gynae did an ultrasound scan again. This time, i can see a larger version of my baby! It is so amazing! Baby looks so big but in fact, from the scan, the size was just 10cm wide from my baby's head to toe..
So, when i asked my gynae if my baby is a boy or a girl, he told me that it looks like a girl. Now, when he said 'it looks like a girl', how true can that be??? I expected him to say....it's a boy/girl! The way he told me made me thinking and wonder how confident he was in determining...
Nonetheless, i will be going to a detailed scan this end of the month, and i hope something more detailed can be known to me. I need to buy baby stuff soon, and making sure of the gender is important in the shopping!!!! Argghhhh......
